2022 Maruti XL6 rendered as a 4×4 SUV: What it’ll look like
Maruti Suzuki updated the XL6 this year. It came with revamped exterior and there were some minor updates to the interior also. The prices of the 11.29 lakhs ex-showroom and goes up to Rs. 14.55 lakhs ex-showroom. Here, we have a render in which the artist has imagined the XL6 as a 4×4 SUV.
The rendering is done by Zephyr Designz and the images are shared on his Instagram page. The artist has made a render using computer software. He has modified the 2022 XL6 into a serious off-roader. The images shared by the artist are only of the front quarter and rear quarter. We do not have any images of the interior.
Up-front, we can see an off-road spec metal bumper which improves the approach angle. There is also a metal skid plate which would protect the underbody from rocks. There are tow hooks and a winch in case the vehicle gets stuck.
The headlamps are still LED units but now come with a smoked effect. There are additional yellow lights placed on the grille which helps other people in seeing the SUV during the nighttime. We can also see a snorkel which would help in increasing the water wading capacity and also help the engine in breathing better air.
On the roof, there are six LED spotlights to increase the visibility while off-roading. A roofbox is to store additional stuff. Moreover, there are window visors and blacked-out outside rearview mirrors. There are side steps that help the occupants in getting in and getting out. The SUV has also been lifted and if you look closely, you can see the rear differential. The artist has given special attention to the little things.
There are off-road spec tyres with steel wheels. Interestingly, the spare tyre is placed on the tailgate but that makes sense considering that such a large tyre won’t fit beneath the boot floor. The rear bumper also has additional plastic cladding and there are antennas placed on the roof. The antennas must be there for the radio because while off-roading phone network might not work so you will have to rely on radios. There is also a subtle rear spoiler which is finished in black.
