Hyundai Venue N Line to be available in two variants: Details
Hyundai India recently launched the facelift of the Venue and has already gathered more than 21,000 bookings of the compact SUV. Now, they are preparing to launch the Venue N Line in the Indian market. It will be Hyundai’s second model in India to get the N Line variant. According to Autocar India, Hyundai will offer the Venue N Line in two variants. There will be N6 and N8.
Unlike, the i20 N Line which is offered with two gearbox options, the Venue N Line will only get a single gearbox. The i20 N Line gets a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Venue N Line will be offered only with a 7-speed DCT.
There will be no change to the engine. So, it will be a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged engine that gets direct injection. It produces 120 Ps of max power and 172 Nm of peak torque.
Hyundai will stiffen up the suspension of the Venue N Line. This will help in improving the handling of the compact SUV. The steering wheel will be retuned for more feel and feedback. It would also respond faster to the steering inputs given by the driver. There will also be a sportier-sounding exhaust. Moreover, Hyundai might also add rear disc brakes to the Venue N Line which will help in increasing the stopping power.
On the exterior, Hyundai will make some cosmetic changes so that the Venue N Line looks sportier. It would get a different more aggressive-looking front bumper with N Line badging. The same badging would also be there on the front fenders. There would be new alloy wheels with the N logo. The rear bumper could also be tweaked the exhaust would have dual tips. There would also be red accents throughout the exterior.
The interior will mostly stay the same as the current Venue. However, there would be an all-black theme with red accents on the seats and dashboard. There would be a three-spoke steering wheel and a different gear lever. Both of which are N Line specific.
Hyundai would not add any more features to the Venue N Line. The N8 trim would come loaded with all the bells and whistles that the top-end variant of the Venue offers. So, expect it to come with the new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, LED projector headlamps, air purifier, voice commands, cornering lamps, 4-way electrically operated driver seat, ambient lighting, connected car technology, up to 6 airbags and much more.
The N6 variant would miss out on some features so that it can be priced lower. It would come with two airbags, will get an Arkamys sound system instead of Bose, it will not have ambient lighting, air purifier and would also not get voice commands.
Hyundai has set the starting price of the Venue Facelift at Rs. 7.53 lakhs ex-showroom. It goes up to Rs. 12.72 lakhs ex-showroom. The Venue N Line would be priced higher than this.
