Showcases 2-step rear reclining seat

Hyundai will be releasing the Venue Facelift on June 16th. The manufacturer has already unveiled the exterior of the upcoming compact SUV. Hyundai has already opened bookings and you can pay Rs. 21,000 to book the Venue Facelift. Now, the manufacturer has released a new teaser that showcases the two-step reclining rear seat.

The video is uploaded on YouTube by Hyundai India. In the video, we can see a girl sitting on the rear seat of the Venue Facelift that will now come with a two-step recline function. The rear seat does look quite close to 90 degrees in the default setting and a little bit reclined in the second setting. This might be because of the camera angle. The two-step recline function would also help in increasing the boot space slightly. So, if the person needs to fit in more stuff then he can use the more forward setting in which would increase the boot space slightly.

Another thing that the video shows us is the LED Daytime Running Lamps. Hyundai has made no changes to the LED DRLs. They are still located in the surround of the main headlamp unit just like we have seen in the current Venue.

What Hyundai has changed is the design of the LED turn indicators but they have not moved their position. The other major thing that is revamped is the new grille. The Venue now gets Hyundai’s new “parametric” grille design which we have seen on some other models of Hyundai. The front bumper is also redesigned and now gets a wide air dam.

There are no changes to the engine or gearboxes. So, the Venue Facelift will continue to come with a.0-litre turbo petrol, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The transmission options will be a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DSG. There will also be drive modes on offer.
